Stayin' Alive... (hopefully!)

Purely for interests sake we thought we'd share this curious little fact with you all.  Back in 2008, the University of Illinois medical school discovered that the perfect way to maintain the correct number of chest compressions when doing CPR, was by keeping time to the Bee Gees Stayin' Alive anthem - a curiously appropriate and encouraging tune to be listening to we must say! It seems that the song's 103 beats per minute is pretty much spot on for maintaining rhythmical chest compressions. Ironically, Dr. Matthew Gilbert, the medical resident, also found that Queen's 'Another One Bites the Dust' had a similar beat... nobody seemed quite as keen on that choice of song though! :)

...We knew rhythm was a lifesaver!! ;)

Sure can dance :)
