Age: 14 years old
How did you get into dancing, and how old were you? I was 4 years old and my mum sent me to ballet with my older sister, all of my siblings have done ballet before and there's 5 of us so it's a bit of a tradition.
What do you like about Energetiks Dancewear?
I love how well it fits and how well it's made. My leotards last a very long time and the colour never seems to fade, and the material is always still nice.
Do you have a favourite style of dance (if so what)?
My favourite styles of dance includes ballet and contemporary, I love ballet and how well it challenges me. I just think ballerinas are some of the most beautiful people in the world. I love contemporary because I love how different and free it can be compared to ballet and I love the way it makes me feel.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully at the Australian Ballet School or at the Royal New Zealand Ballet. If not, I would love to be traveling and choreographing for people.
What is your all-time favourite dance movie?
First Position, love how it shows the world what ballet can be like for dancers my age.
What is your best dance memory/moment?
I have two, first was my contemporary workshop with Dena Kaplan from Dance Academy. I love her style of dance, so unique and challenging. She's very talented. Second was my workshop with Amber Scott, principle dance from the Australian Ballet. She's one of my biggest idols, I learnt so much from her and came out feeling so inspired after the class.
What’s your favourite saying or advice that inspires you?
"Take the leap out of your comfort zone and you'll be inspired by what the world has to offer" It's such a true quote, you have no idea what you can do until you push yourself just that little bit further.
