Brace yourselves! 2023 is going to begin with a bang with the return of the Ballet International Gala. As a Melbourne-based dancewear brand, Energetiks, alongside new and existing supporters are thrilled to have BIG III premiere in both Melbourne and Sydney. Raising the bar yet again, each show will feature a wide variety of international dancers. With director Joel Burke forging the path, he is accompanied by Staatsballett Berlin artists Iana Salenko and Marian Walter known for roles as principal dancers in their marvellous Swan Lake rendition. The brilliant Osiel Gouneo from the Bayerisches Staatsballett as well as The Australian Ballet’s Benedicte Bemet who is set to feature in the Balanchine Masterpiece Jewels next Autumn will appear at BIG III. Returning dancers Daniil Simkin, Yasmine Naghdi, Shugyla Adepkhan, Baktiyar Adamzhan and Juliet Doherty will also be gracing theatres.

This season is set to up the ante once more, including pieces from traditional ballets Swan Lake, Spartacus, Thais Pas and Diana. Audiences will simply be in awe of the high standard presented at this ballet extravaganza. Energetiks is excited to be partnering up with BIG for the second time and welcoming the gala and its cavalcade of world class performers to our home city, so if you haven’t had the opportunity to witness this spectacle live then don’t miss out on a chance to see BIG III. Official BIG x Energetiks merchandise can also be purchased online or in theatres for those looking for a lasting memento, with everything from bags and water bottles to hoodies and track pants available until sold out. If the first two seasons are anything to go by, BIG III will not only exceed your expectations, but motivate aspiring dancers to one day showcase their artistry and uniqueness.
