There's just something about winter that brings out the inner fashionista in all of us; maybe it's the fact that when the weather turns chilly there's a lot more incentive to think about which clothes, and the amount of clothes you're wearing (...or on some occasions, wish you were wearing!) than during the carefree months of summer. However we also know first-hand that winter fashion is a lot less utilitarian than it's mere weather-fortifying properties; winter means a new, richer colour palette, stylish coats, luxurious fabrics and a plethora of scarves and socks! It's the season to reinvent yourself, put comfort first, and try something unique. Luckily for the team here at Energetiks, we've got an endless supply of warm, stylish clothes designed specifically to take us seamlessly through the day, from work-life, to gym sessions and everything else we've packed into our busy schedules! This week we wanted to let you in on some of our own personal favourite winter looks, as worn by three of our amazing team members, dance consultants Eliza, Luda and Eloise. The best part about cooler seasons is that we get to give in to our preferences for comfort clothing and be adventurous with layering and textures in a whole new way. And right at the very top of every girl's winter wish-list is the most wonderfully cozy of all: the over-sized jumper. Winter weather doesn't mean you have to forego all colour for monochrome palettes. Quite the opposite! Just like cold, misty skies make the perfect canvas for rainbows, the cool tones of winter are the ideal time to pull off those bolder, vibrant hues you've been eyeing up without feeling like your outfit is too loud for anyone but Lady Gaga. Mix things up during workouts by choosing a full-colour focal piece (rather than head-to-toe colour) in your favourite hue, and complete the look with neutral, tailored pieces (like this mesh throw-over) that balance out the aesthetic and give you a final product that's both contoured and colourful.
