Introducing Energetiks Ambassador Mila Aziadou: A Journey of Passion, Patience and Perseverance

Energetiks is thrilled to introduce our newest ambassador, Mila Aziadou! From her earliest dance steps in Italy to her incredible journey training in Australia, Mila’s dedication, passion, and perseverance make her a dancer to watch. Let’s get to know her a little better!

Mila’s Dance Journey: From Italy to Australia

Mila’s dance journey began at just two years old when her mum took her to her first ballet class in Rome. By two and a half, she was performing in her first concert! Dance was love at first sight, and with the encouragement of her first teacher Samantha—who was also her kindergarten teacher—Mila’s passion grew.

At five, she took up gymnastics and competed for a couple of years before her family relocated to Australia. It didn’t take long before she was back in the studio, ready to continue her dance journey.

Training & Growth at TDC, Rise, and Beyond

Adjusting to life in Australia wasn’t easy. Mila’s first dance lessons were at a community center, where she didn’t understand English yet. She later trained at Dance Lane before joining TDC The Dance Company in 2022, where she truly found her stride. With dedicated teachers and a strong support system, Mila’s skills flourished, and she gained confidence in her abilities.

At TDC, she trains in a variety of styles, including ballet, contemporary, commercial, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, tap, and acro. She also takes private lessons with Director Lisa Hammer to refine her technique and tricks.

Beyond TDC, Mila’s training has expanded to include:

  • Ministry of Performing Arts College (MOPAC), where she balances schoolwork with dance, acting, and vocal classes.

  • Rebecca Davies' Radar Technique, working on precision in turns, jumps, and leaps.

  • Rise (2022-2025), an intensive program led by Jackie Scott that has given her invaluable industry connections and confidence.

  • The Dream Creative (2024-2025), SCIMM Platform (2023), and One Light (2024)—all programs that have helped shape her artistry.

Mila is always eager to keep learning and growing, making the most of every opportunity that comes her way.

Career Highlights & Achievements

Mila’s hard work and dedication have led to some incredible achievements, including:

  • Representing Team Australia at the Dance World Cup in Prague, where she placed 5th as a soloist.

  • Being part of the Radar Technique Main Team (2022 & 2025).

  • Placing 1st Runner-Up at national competitions like FYD and Jump.

  • Modeling for dance and activewear brands, which has helped boost her confidence.

  • Receiving scholarships for Kelly Aykers Full-Time Dance, SCIMM Ascension, and Rise, opening doors to incredible training opportunities.

Mila’s Dancewear Must-Haves

Lyrical is the style that resonates with her the most which is why, when it comes to dancewear, Mila knows what she loves! Her go-to pieces? The Kity Unitard—perfect for every movement—and the Addison Crop Top, which she owns in every colour (“a true must-have!”).

Looking Ahead: Goals, Lessons & Advice for Young Dancers

Mila has big dreams for the future. Once she finishes school or full-time training, she hopes to land a dance contract on a cruise to gain professional experience. From there, her ultimate goal is to dance backup for top artists and step into choreography.

Hard work, patience and resilience are just some of the main values instilled in Mila through dance. She knows that achieving results takes time, and the key is to keep pushing forward without giving up.

Mila has one important message for young dancers: Stop comparing yourself to others!

“I used to do it all the time, and it really affected me negatively. Instead, take inspiration from dancers you admire and use it to fuel your own growth. Stay focused on your goals, work hard, be yourself, and most importantly—have fun!”

With passion, persistence, and undeniable talent, Mila’s journey is just beginning—we can't wait to see where it leads next. Follow her adventures on Instagram @milaaziadou
